Bio
Rosa Booth (b. 1994) investigates the fraught interplay of desire and fear, oppression and liberation, intimacy and isolation. Central to her current work is the theme of magic. Magic conceived as our connectedness to the natural world & each other, as beyond what we imagine to be possible, and as decentralized power. Her practice probes the contradictions of the human condition, juxtaposing destructive impulses of domination with the persistent capacity for tenderness.
